George Washington's Boyhood Home Found!
On Wednesday, July 2, 2008, the George Washington Foundation (GWF) announced that they have pinpointed the long-sought archaeological site of George Washington's Boyhood Home, Ferry Farm in Stafford, Virginia. Governor Tim Kaine made the announcement to the media at 2:00pm at a National Press Conference.
