Green Business Initiatives
Practice environmental responsibility in your Stafford business, and take advantage of “green” business networking and marketing opportunities through two statewide Virginia programs.
Virginia Green Suppliers Network
The Virginia Green Suppliers Network (VGSN) is a business-to-business resource whereby green product and service providers can assist other businesses in meeting green requirements and becoming eco-friendly. Company leaders can choose from a variety of services – from grease recycling, linen cleaning, landscaping, and water conservation services – to bath products, photovoltaic solar panels, bio-based foods, green building supplies, and…the list goes on! Membership in the VGSN is tiered based on company size ($100-$300 annually) and discounted for Virginia Hospitality & Travel Association (VHTA) members. Visit www.VirginiaGreenSuppliers.com for complete details.

Once a business is registered, it will be listed on the Virginia Green Travel site, where visitors choose from participating destinations when planning their vacations to Virginia. Join the more than 700 members and 1600 Facebook fans! The Virginia Green program is jointly hosted by the Virginia Tourism Corporation (VTC), Virginia Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ), and Virginia Hospitality & Travel Association (VHTA).
