The Economic Development Department of Stafford County is energized to promote the many and diverse retail opportunities the County has to offer. Stafford representatives regularly attend ICSC
(International Council of Shopping Centers) events. The County has attended the Mid-Atlantic ICSC show 3 years in a row.
Two new mixed-use communities were approved for development in 2016:

The county has welcomed many new retailers in the last several months. Recent wins include:
