STAFFORD, VIRGINIA – June 30, 2022 – Virginia Oncology Care expands its services with the opening of a state-of-the-art Hematology Oncology Infusion Center. This 40,000 square feet facility is equipped with 45 individual infusion suites to allow for privacy and a serene environment for patients as well as their family members. Virginia Oncology Care was established in 2017 to improve the standards in cancer care as well as access to infusion therapies in the Stafford, Fredericksburg, Spotsylvania, and surrounding regions. Its rapidly growing team employs five board certified physicians and ten advanced practice providers to serve the needs of the community.

Virginia Oncology Care strives to provide the latest techniques and equipment to minimize hair loss due to chemotherapy. They continue to offer PAXMAN, a scalp cooling device that prevents and minimizes hair loss while undergoing chemotherapy, at no cost to patients. Virginia Oncology Care also offers the latest LASER equipment to promote hair growth for all patients. A certified trichologist will now be providing consultative services to promote hair growth for patients of Virginia Oncology Care. As always, these services are complimentary with no additional charge to patients. Virginia Oncology Care continues to build on its mission of establishing new national standards of care, starting here at home. We strive to improve the outcomes through an integrative medicine approach in a cost-effective manner.

None of these achievements would have been possible without the love and support of our patients, their families, hospital system, staff, and our referring providers. We are grateful for the opportunity to bring world class healthcare to our local community. To learn more about Virginia Oncology Care and the facility, please visit: www.virginiaoncologycare.com.
