QUANTICO, VA – May 22, 2023 – Full Distance Brewing celebrated their official ribbon cutting ceremony with Stafford County on Friday, May 19, 2023 located at Merritt Business Park in the Quantico Corporate Center located along the I-95 and Route 1 corridor in Stafford County, Virginia. Located less than 10 minutes outside the Marine Corps Base Quantico, Full Distance Brewing is an 8134 SF craft brewery with a spacious taproom and outdoor patio.
Doug Meyer, CEO and Founder of Full Distance Brewing, is an avid beer enthusiast and a former Marine, Ironman triathlete, marathoner. He says that years of training and racing require individual commitment and a vast support network of family, friends, and even bosses. These same commitments apply to anyone who works hard in life to achieve their goals and should be celebrated. To put this concept to action, Doug combined the commitment to overcome challenges with his passion for finely crafted beer to inspire the idea for Full Distance Brewing. Full Distance Brewing’s ribbon cutting and grand opening weekends will feature several small businesses from the Stafford and Fredericksburg areas. Ribbon cutting weekend will be assisted by MAP Food Truck and have live entertainment from the Anthony James Band. Additionally, the grand opening weekend will feature Southern Roots Farm food truck and have live entertainment from The Phipps and Enya. Additionally, Pure Barre will be hosting a Barre and Beer session on May 27th at 10:30 a.m. with a happy hour following. Come out and celebrate a new Stafford County brewery!
