Stafford, VA – June 26, 2024 – Leading commercial real estate operating company NorthPoint Development celebrated the groundbreaking of the highly anticipated Austin Ridge Logistics Center, a new state-of-the-art industrial park, on June 25th. The ceremony took place at 2125 Austin Ridge Drive, Stafford, VA 22554. 

The event featured key speakers including Meg Bohmke, Chairwoman of the Stafford Board of Supervisors, and Ryan Marshall, Development Manager at NorthPoint Development. The Austin Ridge Logistics Center project will encompass five to seven buildings for an expected total of 2,078,015 square feet. The Class A, multi-facility industrial park is the largest industrial project along I-95 from Washington, D.C. to Richmond, strategically positioned with immediate access to I-95 at exit 140. This innovative development is poised to accommodate a range of large-scale users with spaces up to one million square  feet, including potential tenants looking for last-mile logistics facilities, regional distribution warehouses, and data centers. The project will not only be an ideal choice for industrial tenants but also offer a wide range of business and economic opportunities for  Stafford County.

At full build-out, the Austin Ridge Logistics Center will represent a $133.9 million dollar investment in Stafford County, creating over  twelve hundred jobs. We would like to thank the Stafford County Planning Commission and Board of Supervisors for believing in our vision, as well as the entire Colliers team for  their work on putting this deal together.” 

The project facts highlight a capital investment of $133.9 million and the creation of approximately 1,228 jobs, both direct and indirect. NorthPoint Development has chosen Colliers to market the new development, and Brinkmann Constructors is the General Contractor. Given both the site’s scale and its proximity to necessary utility connections, the new Austin Ridge development is one of the few that can effectively meet the demand of a wide array of large-scale users.
