Fredericksburg, VA (September 3, 2024) – Rappahannock United Way is thrilled to announce a first-of-its-kind fundraising event that brings together businesses and nonprofits for a morning of inspiration, connection, and professional development. Join us for Inspire & Lead: Breakfast & Masterclass on September 18, 2024, at the Fredericksburg Convention Center. This engaging and interactive experience is open to professionals, business leaders, and community supporters from across the Fredericksburg area, including the counties of Spotsylvania, Stafford, Caroline, and King George within RUW’s service region.
Steve Pemberton, acclaimed speaker, philanthropist, former HR executive, and author of The Lighthouse Effect: How Ordinary People Can Have an Extraordinary Impact in the World, will headline the event by delivering a powerful keynote address on leadership, focusing on cultivating positive cultures and environments where teams can thrive and perform at their best.
Event Highlights:
- Keynote Address: Steve Pemberton will share his insights on leadership and the transformative power of creating spaces where people feel empowered and valued.
Attendees will gain valuable strategies for building a strong organizational culture that drives performance and impact. - The Lighthouse Effect of Leadership Masterclass: Following breakfast, Steve Pemberton will lead an exclusive masterclass on “The Lighthouse Effect of Leadership.” This engaging session will explore the 10 attributes of Lighthouse Leadership, from transforming doubts into destinations to embracing new possibilities. With real-world case studies and interactive exercises, attendees will leave with actionable tools to inspire their teams and make a meaningful impact in their organizations and communities.
