The Stafford County Economic Development Authority (EDA) is excited to announce its annual Business Appreciation Reception will take place on Wednesday, May 7, 2025, from 5:00 to 7:00 pm at the beautiful Potomac Point Winery & Vineyard. This premier networking event celebrates the thriving business community in Stafford County and recognizes the contributions of local businesses to the region’s economic landscape.
“The Business Appreciation Reception is a highlight of the year, bringing together business leaders, entrepreneurs, and community partners to celebrate success and foster collaboration,” said Jack Rowley, Chairman of the Stafford EDA. “Stafford County continues to be a hub of economic opportunity, and this event allows us to express our gratitude to the businesses that choose to make it happen.”
A highlight of the evening will be the presentation of awards recognizing outstanding businesses that exemplify excellence across the community. These honors include the Business of the Year, the Innovation Award, and the Donald H. Newlin Community Stewardship Award. The event will also highlight the Stafford County Legacy Business Recognition Program, an initiative dedicated to identifying Stafford businesses for their years in business and unique backgrounds—including Women-Owned, Veteran-Owned, Minority-Owned, and Military Spouse-Owned businesses. These legacy businesses are a testament to longevity, perseverance, and the deep roots that impacts Stafford’s community and drive our local economy.
