This four-hour workshop covers the development of the business plan and its financial forecasting. Please be prepared to begin working on your business plan during the class. We will start by opening a Microsoft Word or Google Doc for you to add information to as we proceed through the workshop. By the end of the workshop, you will have completed a rough draft of a portion of the business plan and have a clear direction on which areas you need to conduct research and add additional information to in order to complete the business plan.

Bianca Guzman, UMW SBDC Consultant

Bianca Guzman is one of the University of Mary Washington SBDC Consultants. Bianca works with clients to evaluate business opportunities, forecast cash flows, develop marketing strategies, prepare loan proposals, and write business plans. She also assists clients in registering to do business with state and federal agencies and obtaining applicable minority business certifications. She teaches Blue Print Business Plan seminars. Bianca has attended both Clark Atlanta University and University of Phoenix and completed programs in Computer Science/Desktop Publishing, Criminal Justice, Business Management, and Human Resources Management. Bianca has also been an entrepreneur for over 15 years.
