Shop Small Stafford is Stafford County’s official Small Business Saturday initiative. Participating businesses are featured in a free digital passport that shoppers use to explore local shops, restaurants, makers, and more. Shoppers scan a QR code at each location to check in and earn entries to win one of three gift certificates ($1,000 or $500), redeemable at participating businesses. The passport also gives businesses a place to promote exclusive Small Business Saturday deals, plus extra visibility before the big day.
Registration is open to all eligible small businesses in Stafford County that are registered and in good standing with the Commissioner of the Revenue. Businesses with a storefront can apply to be listed in the passport by Sunday, November 22 by completing the 2026 Shop Small Stafford Application. Home-based and online businesses are invited to join the Shop Small Market, held from 10 AM to 2 PM at the 610 Slug Lot, hosted by Long Family Markets, where they can set up in person and display their QR code. Market registration closes November 3, carries a $20 vendor fee, and requires completion of the Shop Small Market Application, so those businesses should complete both forms.
