The Cyber Bytes Academy is excited to announce that registration is now open for all of their fall courses. The new line-up includes a variety of courses designed to prepare students for industry-recognized certification in the IT and cybersecurity fields. Courses start as low as $599. These courses will prepare students to take the ISC2 Certified Information System Security Professional (CISSP) exam.
Courses will be held during the evenings from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM Monday – Friday starting October 19th and concluding on October 30,2020. Course location will be held at the Quantico Cyber Hub at 1010 Corporate Drive, Suite 310, Stafford, VA 22554. Strict COVID-19 protocols are in place and in-person attendance is limited to allow for proper social distancing. A virtual option is available for those not comfortable or unable to attend in-person classes.
CBA105 is designed to develop a broad range of skills across security policy development and management, as well as a technical understanding of a wide range of security controls. Learners will develop skills in the use of data collected from a variety of cyber defense tools to analyze events that occur within their environments for the purposes of mitigating threats. Learners will also develop skills that will allow them to lead, coordinate, communicate, integrate, and account for the overall success of the cybersecurity program, ensuring alignment with agency or enterprise priorities. Learners will understand how to develop and maintain cybersecurity plans, strategies, and policies to support and align with organizational cybersecurity initiatives and regulatory compliance. They will develop an appreciation for the responsibility for the cybersecurity of a program, organization, system, or enclave. They will leave with the necessary skills and best practices to effectively create and execute enterprise-wide information security strategies.
