First Line Technology, designer and manufacturer of lab-to-saving products and equipment for emergency response and disaster preparedness, will host an official ribbon-cutting and grand opening of their Fredericksburg location. The ceremony slated for Feb 1, 2021 at 1pm local time will be a virtual event open to the public.

The celebration of the new expansion will showcase a virtual tour of the facility in addition to remarks from state and local officials. The new location adds an extra 20,000+ square feet for the organization to continually build upon as new innovative solutions and methods of education come about.

“This property is perfect for us at it accommodates our needs for more office space, training capabilities, and production efforts,” says Amit Kapoor, President and CEO. “The growth over the past years have required us to grow our footprint to keep innovating and developing products from our research partners for First Responders and the Military.”

In business for almost two decades, First Line Technology has hit many milestones over the years. This project has been one of the biggest in company history with planning and preparation underway for nearly two years. When the location was decided on back in 2019, the company received an outpouring of support from community leaders and state officials.

“We welcome First Line Technology to Stafford County. As a Supervisor and social studies teacher, history has shown that military technology transfer partnerships act as a stimulus to attract more entrepreneurial development to business communities,” remarked Thomas Coen, George Washington District, Stafford County, Virginia.
