Stafford, VA – July 6, 2026 – AMI Industries, Inc., a Taiwan-based manufacturer specializing in aerospace jet engine components and medical diagnostic device parts, has officially established its first U.S. subsidiary in Stafford County, Virginia. The new operation represents a significant milestone in the company’s international growth strategy while further strengthening Virginia’s position as a destination for advanced manufacturing and global investment.
Located in Stafford County, the new subsidiary will provide logistics, warehousing, and customer support services for AMI’s growing North American customer base. The facility enhances the company’s ability to serve customers more efficiently while establishing a strategic foundation for future growth in the United States.
The project is expected to create 13 new jobs and generate an estimated $1,700,000 in capital expenditures, further contributing to Stafford County’s expanding economy.
AMI Industries serves highly specialized markets, producing precision components for aerospace jet engines and medical diagnostic devices. The company’s investment marks the first operation of its kind in Stafford County, aligning with targeted industry sectors identified by Stafford County, regional economic development partners, and the Commonwealth of Virginia.
“We are excited to launch AMI Industries USA as an important step in our long-term vision for international expansion,” said Jerry Huang, General Manager of AMI Industries, Inc. “This new subsidiary will enable us to better serve our customers, expand our market presence, and deliver the high-quality products and services that have defined AMI Industries for many years.”
The project was supported through a collaborative effort between the Virginia’s Innovation Crossroads (VIC), Virginia Economic Development Partnership (VEDP), and Stafford County Economic Development & Tourism. The recruitment effort reflects a shared commitment to attracting high-value international companies operating in advanced manufacturing, aerospace, and life sciences industries.
“AMI Industries represents exactly the type of company Virginia’s Innovation Crossroads was created to attract, an innovative global manufacturer operating in high-growth industries that strengthen Virginia’s competitive position and the region in advanced manufacturing and international trade,” said Tom Scott, President. “Their decision to establish their first U.S. presence in Virginia demonstrates the value of our collaborative approach to business attraction and reinforces the region’s reputation as a premier location for global companies seeking access to talent, infrastructure, and markets.”
Virginia continues to be recognized as a leading destination for advanced manufacturing and international investment due to its strategic East Coast location, highly skilled workforce, robust transportation infrastructure, and strong business climate. Stafford County’s proximity to major transportation corridors, federal agencies, defense contractors, and growing technology sectors made it an ideal location for AMI’s U.S. expansion.
“AMI Industries’ decision to locate in Stafford County is a tremendous win for our community and a direct reflection of the strategic industry sectors we have prioritized for growth,” said Liz Barber, Economic Development & Tourism Director for Stafford County. “As the first company in Stafford County specializing in aerospace jet engine components and medical diagnostic device component manufacturing, AMI brings innovation, high-quality jobs, and international investment that strengthens our economic base. We are proud to welcome AMI Industries to Stafford County and look forward to supporting their continued success as they expand their presence in Virginia and throughout North America.”
The establishment of AMI Industries USA further advances Stafford County’s Economic Development Strategic Plan, which emphasizes attracting target industries that diversify the local economy, create quality employment opportunities, and enhance the county’s long-term competitiveness.
