Retail StudyRetail Study

Stafford County leaders recently took bold action to promote enhanced retail offerings for local residents.  The Riddle Company, based in Washington, DC, was engaged to evaluate the current retail marketplace and Stafford demographic profile, in order to develop a comprehensive retail attraction study.  The final report includes key data, trade area statistics, as well as specific recommendations for increasing and enhancing retail growth opportunities in Stafford County.

Strategic Plan

10-point planThe Department of Economic Development is proud to share the Stafford County Economic Development 10 Point Plan.  The Plan, adopted by the Board of Supervisors in September 2011, defines and memorializes the Board's commitment to economic development.  Intended to be a "living" document, the Plan will be updated on a continuing basis as progress is made towards completing each point.
