Are You a Veteran Interested In Drones? Are You Looking For Your Next Career? Join Vets To Drones For Their Next Fly Day!
Learn how to fly a drone from certified pilots, network with industry experts, and access training programs and job opportunities!
Participants will fly through three exercises – Drone Familiarization & Box Drills, NIST Level 1 Stimulations, culminating with a Cinematic Capturing of Armed Services Memorial. A copy of your capture of the Armed Services Memorial will be available after the event.
No drone flight experience, prior knowledge, or certifications are necessary to fly at this event. This event is free and open to the public, especially veterans and their families, who are interested in a career in the drone industry.
Vets To Drones is a 501c3 that prepares veterans for a career in the commercial drone industry through training, certification, and experience. Vets To Drones gives veterans the opportunity to utilize the skills they learned in the military, while gaining knowledge on a growing high growth, high wage, industry sector. Veterans have the opportunity to become certified drone operators and be matched with jobs.
